Load Paypal Account in Kenya using MPESA (updated 15 Apr 2018)

This guide is for customers who have registered and had there accounts verified on Eastpesa.com .

 

So in today’s, tutorial I will walk you through how to load your Paypal account using MPESA in Kenya.

Please note the process is almost the same with all other Mobile networks we support.

Currently you can load your account with the following networks across East Africa: MTN, Safaricom, Airtel and Tigo.

Create your account on www.eastpesa.com

Remember to use your valid phone number that you will use to make mobile money payments

Confirm your email address and phone number.

Now visit www.eastpesa.com/ratechecker.php

Select your service as MPESA to Paypal , enter the amount you want to transfer and the system will automatically show how much you will receive to your Paypal account.

Go to your MPESA menu, Select Paybill. Use Paybill number 6400**5 (full paybill is shown in your account.

Account number must be system generated by Eastpesa e.g. PPL54273.  This account number is automatically mapped by Eastpesa to your Paypal email address.

Only the phone number used during registration can make an automatic deposit.

Enter the amount to transfer.

Enter pin and complete transaction.

Your Paypal account will be loaded instantly with an equivalent amount in USD.

You can also view the status of this transaction on your eastpesa account.
